The course also introduces the techniques of night pilotage. Anchoring procedures are also developed in this course, helping to ensure you select the best position to be able to relax in confidence On successful completion of this course you will be able to confidently skipper a Motor-Cruiser in familiar waters by day. UK residents/ passport holders will also be able to apply to the Royal Yachting Association for an International Certificate of Competence (ICC) for vessels upto 24 metres in length. The RYA Dayskipper is also useful for proffesional yacht crew wishing to gain their Yacht Rating Certificate. Please see the Motor Cruising Page for further details.
