Charter yachts can now become recognised by the RYA to run the new PWC safety course. We can offer a complete service including training instructors and assistance to complete the process of RYA recognition.

Introduction to PWC Safety
This RYA Course provides charter guests with basic PWC handling skills. Training takes a minimum of one hour for those with some prior experience and teaches high and low speed driving skills and safety awareness. Successful trainees receive an RYA certificate valid for the duration of their charter on-board the specified yacht. They can then use PWCs under supervision.

What you need to get your yacht recognised to run this course:

• A crew member trained as an RYA PW Instructor
• One or more PWCS and personal safety equipment including bouyancy aids
• A system for supervising your guests on the water
• Safety cover in the form of a powerboat or tender.

What your instructor needs:

• RYA Personal Watercraft / Jet Ski Proficiency Certificate
• RYA Personal Watercraft Instructor Certificate
• First Aid certificate
