RYA Yachtmaster theory course, the professional qualification

This six day advanced course in navigation and meteorology is suitable for students who have already completed the Day Skipper theory course or who have a strong knowledge of navigation and seamanship. The course includes three exam papers.

Class sizes are limited to six persons for a friendly environment to ensure you get the best from the course. All course materials are provided.

To attend the course you must have a good working knowledge of navigation to the level of RYA Dayskipper Theory and have a sound knowledge of the IRPCS

The scheme is accredited by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency and is emulated throughout the world. The certificates of competence are required by commercial yacht skippers on UK registered sailing and motor vessels under 24 metres and as entry to proffesional yachting qualifications. Additionally, many recreational sailors take RYA Yachtmaster® exams as a measure of their competence.



Course fee 795 Euros
Course fee includes all training materials.

The course is usually taken before the Yachtmaster Offshore exam preparation course.
